Essex Design Fabrications is a family run business based in North Essex. We specialise in the complete design, manufacture and installation of steel staircases and balustrades, custom made to each of our clients designs and specifications.
Our experience spans over 30 years, therefore if you are looking to achieve a feature staircase or balustrade system, we are confident that we have the knowledge and expertise to assist you in achieving this.
Our projects include both residential and commercial work, having installed feature staircases in various stores and restaurants chains including McDonalds, Itsu, Hotel Chocolat, Vital Ingredient, Pret a Manger, KFC , Leon and many more.
DESIGN
We provide a complete in house design package, working with you to achieve the desired end product. We have extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations surrounding staircase design, and can work with other professionals to ensure the design meets all specifications and requirements. Our problem-solving capabilities allow us to quickly address any issues during the design process to ensure a straight-forward manufacture and installation.
FABRICATION
All our projects are manufactured in house, to the highest standard of crafted workmanship. We have a team of skilled metal workers, who each have an eye for detail and individual creative talents. Our years of experience has given us a thorough knowledge of manufacturing and metalworking techniques.

We carry out the complete installation on all of our projects,
Being situated in North Essex, many of our projects are based in London and the home counties. However, we carry out works nationwide.
