DESIGN ELEMENTS
Once you are sure of the main design you're looking to achieve, then you're able to decide upon the finer details. Please see below some of the different design elements you could choose from.
This design involves a single central spine to create the main structure of the staircase.
This is our most minimalistic design staircase and again is sought after due to its contemporary feel.
Indicated by its names, this design involves a ‘zig-zag’ effect to the stringers.
The design pretty much speaks for itself, but again is an extremely popular option. It is achieved by securing with bolts through pre cut hole within the glass.
This is our most minimalistic design and often has our clients questioning “how does it work?” To achieve this design, 15mm structural glass is carefully set into place with the use of resin.
This system uses glass panels that are captivated within clamps and structurally supported with posts. The design could include either round or square posts and accompanied handrail.
We usually supply clear toughened glass within our staircases, however, different glazing effects can be provided, such as frosted, opaque.
This is our most common staircase finish as allows each of our clients to choose from a wide array of colours to match their existing colour schemes.
This finish is achieved by apply a specialist blackening chemical treatment. Again, the finish is becoming increasing popular as gives a very sleek and unique finish.
Recently, we have been working to create different finishes using
different metal patinas. By using
certain chemicals, we can create different metal effects.
This is a unique finish and is created by hand, with a process of grinding and abrading the metal surface.
This again, is becoming a popular choice amongst our clients who are looking to achieve a unique and industrial design feature staircase. We finish the raw metal by either gloss or matt lacquer for protection.
